You know what? Silly as this may be, this is the kind of stuff that, even years down the line, we would remember from our university experience. It's also how you get students to actually read your syllabus and participate in your classes. More teachers should do this - everywhere, in every education level.

It's the fact that we know we are about to make things worse that makes this meme so much better… or worse. We know, and we will still do it. And somehow, sometimes, perhaps, the humor is so bad and so out of line that you end up taking all of the heat onto yourself and actually stopping an argument- baffling people out of it.
